A permit provides the drone pilot with authority to fly their vehicle in an approved forest area on date of permit as authorised by a Ranger.
All permit holders must adhere to the Drone Use in ForestrySA Guidelines.
Drones must not be flown within 30m of people or above campgrounds or accommodation facilities.
Forests are closed at night and on days of Total Fire Ban.
